About Us
Our modern, indoor arena and barn provide space for many purposes. We have top of the line GGT footing in the arena, skylights in both alleyways, heated tack rooms, and viewing lounge. It’s a lovely space to gather regardless of the weather outside. The property has a perimeter riding path great for warming up, cooling down, or just meandering around visiting with friends and enjoying the beautiful scenery.
The outdoor arena is large and provides good footing for jumping or riding. The round pen is 50 feet and a safe space for starting young horses. We have a variety of sizes paddocks; all equipped with shelters. Some are built for small groups of horses; and some intended for horses on their own. There are 8 very large turnout paddocks used in summer and fall for letting the horses run and graze.
Services
Boarding
Currently offering outdoor board where your horse has a paddock and shelter. We provide three meals of excellent quality hay per day and fresh, clean water. We also offer beet pulp to mix with your supplements and feed this once a day.
Paddocks
Turnout options are provided if the owner wishes. We share responsibility for turnout with the owners. You turn out -we bring in or vice versa. As we live in a desert and there is no irrigation other than what is provided by nature turnout is limited to an hour or two per day on a rotational basis.
Rates
The full outdoor paddock board is $565 per month including GST.
Clinics
We hold clinics with trainers who have over 30+ years of experience teaching and riding with people of all skill levels.
Boarding
Our philosophy with horses is to put them as much as possible in an environment where they feel content and where they thrive. Sometimes this means they need companionship in the same paddock, sometimes just being able to see another horse over the fence keeps them happy. Not every horse does well with other horses in its paddock- depending on how much they need to eat, supplements, tolerance for play, when they get ridden, etc.
We also have indoor stalls (12×12) in the barn which we can use if necessary. Over the years we have found horses are happier to stay outside as long as they have access to shelter, food, and water. We put shavings in the outdoor shelters and clean them every day so they are comfortable and welcoming.
We work together with owners to ensure the horse’s needs are met.
Boarding includes access to all components of our facility including the large, indoor arena with GGT footing, outdoor arena with sand footing, perimeter riding path around the property(great for going for a small hack or long trot), the 50foot round pen and all the barn amenities(bathroom, heated tack rooms, viewing lounge, and tack up stalls).
